YIKES! HOUSTON....WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!!
Argh! Okay, so my co-worker just emails me and informs me that the Biggest Loser will be casting in Kansas City @ Nebraska Furniture Mart on July 11 from 10a-6p. You cannot line up more than 3 hours in advance. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! I have sat in line for 14+ hours at Chick-fil-a 3 TIMES now to receive a years worth of free food. Every black friday I risk frost bite outside of Best Buy for 6+ hours in order to BUY material possessions - WOULD I BE CRAZY TO NOT WAIT 3 HOURS FOR THIS POSSIBLY ONCE IN A LIFE-TIME OPPORTUNITY???
Here's my bigger dilemma...about 3 weeks ago I wrote a heart-felt post about filling out the Biggest Loser application and how I truly felt like I don't need a show anymore to achieve my weight loss goals. It was one of the few times I felt like I'd given myself proper credit for the hard work I've been putting into reaching my goal. Now I feel like if I go, I'm recanting on my new perspective and giving in to the "easier route."
HELP...Jennifer, girl, you better be all over this post because you've been one of my great encourager's and were on the bandwagon for getting me on the show. Haha. You guys should come with my face on your shirts...haha...it'll read, "PLEASE SHRINK MY FRIEND!!!" haha.
Also, I've started this competition at my job and I'm helping another friend who is trying to lose weight at the same time - would I be bailing out if I was actually offered this opportunity??? I don't want to be someone who isn't committed to the people I'm working to help and encourage.

Seriously...your on my nerves! Yes, you should do it...just give it a shot! you can work all the kinks out after you get picked. You can encourage your work pals and the rest of AMERICA every Tuesday night on prime time TELEVISION! This is a life changing opportunity on your front porch, you can not live life with any regrets or missed opportunities. I will personally hurt you if you don't try!!LOL

Honey I want to tell you to fill out that application. But I think you need to get on your face before the Lord and seek HIS advice.
If it were me....(I'm just saying).... I would absolutely fill it out. I would have someone pray over that bad boy with me. I'd probably ask a pastor at church to pray with me after service someday. I'd drop it in the mailbox .... and then don't give it another thought. If it's the Lord's plan for you Mesha... He'll work out all the details. You will have done your part in filling it out... He will take it from there.
Your friend will understand. True friends rejoice when other's get blessings!
I'm gonna pray for you RIGHT NOW that you would see yourself Mesha as your daddy in Heaven sees you. And that He would give you the desires of your heart. That He would work out all things in this situation for your good. And that above all else... He would be glorified.

I had a really precious moment with the Lord when I did my first Extreme Makeover for ABC. At the risk of sounding like a nutjob... I'll tell you.
We were in Ty's "secret room" (it's no secret by the way). He was up on scaffolding with all my girls and they were in the room filming it. My girls and me and Ty Pennington. And suddenly it was as if the Lord himself whispered in my ear.... "isn't this fun". I will NEVER forget it. He desires to bless His children. If not Biggest Loser... I still can't wait to see what He does in your life. But I can bet you one thing... you better hang on for the ride!!!
Ha ha ha...now YOU are "seriously" seriously cracking me up now. I'm sure my roommate can hear me cracking up from upstairs. Haha. I was laughing and reading aloud through my outbursts. Lol. It was funny though because if you could record me...it went from laughter to AW! That's so sweet and my heart melted when you said you would pray for me RIGHT NOW. You for real just took me on a little scattered emotions trip by words. Haha. You're great! Btw...how are you gonna post before really reading what you are posting about, that's the funny part. That is just so cool that you got to work with Extreme Makeover, and multiple times at that. Okay, I am typing on my phone again, so I will stop rambling now! Thanks for your encouragement and support. I don't think you fully understand what that has meant to me.

I tried to get you to watch it a couple years before you started.THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT THAT SHOW THAT IS "THE EASY WAY OUT"!They be sweatin a monsoon girl! I say show up and let God handle the rest. ...i'm still laughing, DAYS LATER, from Laretha's comment. Laughing at Shauna's too. Emotionally overwhelmed (in a good way) by Jen's and laughin at the fact that Audrey thinks she's going to have lost the 2lbs she still needs by monday so that I owe her $30. You guys are seriously the best!
Hahaha!!! This is funny to me, Demesha, because I was having kinda the same delimma. I feel like I have found my mental foothold, so I don't feel comfortable auditioning, because I believe I posted a very similar thing on Kristin's site too. I am still dealing with it. They are going to be in the ATL this Saturday. I still have to decide. Did you end up going? I think you'd be great on the show!
